- Description: The free form polished Jasper stone formation is machined on all sides and cut flat at the base allowing it to stand on its own.
- Additional Information: Jasper is an opaque, fine-grained or dense variant of the silicon mineral chert that exhibits various colors. Mainly brick red to brownish red, it owes its color to the added hematite; but when mixed with clay the color is yellowish white or grey, or brown or yellow with goethite. Jasper has long been used for jewelry and decoration, it has a matte luster but can be finely polished; its hardness and other physical properties correspond to those of quartz.
