- Description: The Jasper Freeform, polished on all sides and ground flat at the base, is free-standing and reveals a variety of beige tones and a black oval.
- Additional Information: Jasper, opaque, fine-grained or dense variety of the quartz mineral chert that exhibits various colors. Mainly brick red to brownish red, it owes its color to the added hematite; but when found mixed with clay the color is yellowish white or gray, or brown or yellow with goethite. Jasper, long used in jewelry and embellishments, has a dull luster but can be finely polished; its hardness and other physical properties correspond to those of quartz.
