- Additional Information: Apophyllite is a potassium-calcium-fluorosilicate mineral structurally related to the zeolite family of aluminosilicates. Like the zeolites, it exhibits a high water content, but does not contain aluminum in its chemical composition. In many respects, it more closely resembles the micas.
