- Additional Information: Apophyllite is a potassium-calcium-fluoride-silicate mineral, structurally related to the zeolite family of aluminosilicates. Like zeolites, it has a high water content but does not contain aluminum in its chemical composition. In many respects, it is more similar to micas.
